Job Summary: A prominent collections company is seeking an Accountant to perform accounting and financial activities, record and maintain up-to-date information, and participate in monthly closings and tax filings. Key Responsibilities: 1. Performing bank reconciliations and expense accruals 2. Analyzing and cleaning up accounting accounts 3. Participating in monthly closings and tax filings A prominent collections company requires minimum 3 years of experience Perform accounting and financial activities in accordance with established policies and strategic guidelines, ensuring achievement of company objectives. Record and maintain updated and controlled information related to accounting procedures and actions. Responsibilities * Record expenses, income, and intercompany transfers according to operational needs. * Perform bank reconciliations for the company's current accounts. * Perform expense accruals. * Issue income invoices. * Analyze and clean up accounting accounts in the trial balance. * Participate in the monthly closing process. * Prepare monthly and provisional tax returns and DIOT. * Submit electronic accounting records. * Review tax receipts. * Update the cash flow statement. Functions * Support activities of the Accounting and Finance Department. • Collect and securely store physical documentation supporting the Accounting Department (accounting files). • Enter invoices into the system and attach the corresponding PDF and XML files for each invoice in the CONTALINK platform, under the Accounting module. • Verify electronic fund transfer requests to various subsidiaries on a weekly basis. • Match invoices between the SAT (Mexican Tax Authority) and the platform used, to deliver various reports—weekly, biweekly, and monthly. • Review the tax mailbox of the different companies within the corporate group every third day.
