Promotion of teamwork and communication **Department:** Administration and Finance · **Type:** Replacement · **Modality:** On-site **Work Schedule:** Full-time · **Gender:** Indistinct **Purpose of the Position** Lead and ensure the continuity, security, and improvement of the school’s technological infrastructure, promoting **innovation**, **teamwork**, and **excellent communication** with users and management to ensure operational processes are reliable, secure, and efficient. **Key Responsibilities** * **Infrastructure and Network Management:** availability, performance, and perimeter and endpoint security (switching, VLANs, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN, monitoring). * **Level 2 Support and Level 1 Coordination:** ticket assignment, SLA adherence, escalation, and user communication. * **Information Security:** basic hardening, access control, backups, disaster recovery, and cybersecurity best practices. * **Innovation and Continuous Improvement:** evaluation of tools, task automation, process standardization, and documentation. * **Vendor Relations:** quotations, service and warranty tracking; hardware/software inventory control. * **IT Projects for the Department:** implementation (on-prem/cloud), testing, brief user training, and progress reporting. **Requirements** * **Teamwork** and **collaborative leadership** (coordination with Finance, HR, Procurement, and Management). * **Excellent communication** with non-technical users (clarity, follow-up, and documentation). * **Problem-solving under pressure**; prioritization based on impact and urgency. * **Planning and organization**: SLA management, dashboards/tickets, checklists, and logs. * **Service orientation** and focus on measurable outcomes. Relevant Work Experience * **2+ years** providing **support** and operating **network and security infrastructure**. * Administration of firewall/VPN **consoles**, managed switches, enterprise Wi-Fi. * Experience with **backup/restore**, asset inventory, patching, and access control. * Preferred: participation in **innovation projects** (automation, migrations, tool integration). Academic Background * **Bachelor’s Degree in Systems Engineering** (or related field). * **Master’s Degree in Cybersecurity** (preferred). * Plus: certifications (e.g., **CCNA**, **Network+**, **Security+**, vendor-specific firewall/switching certifications). Special Characteristics * Proficiency in **networks and security** (mandatory). * Leadership, teamwork, and high **ethics** in information handling. * Availability for after-hours support during critical incidents or events.
