Opportunity for professional development and a positive work environment **Systems Assistant / IT Technical Support** **Universidad América Latina (UAL) – Patria Campus, Guadalajara** **Universidad América Latina (UAL)** is seeking a **Systems Assistant / IT Technical Support Specialist**, with experience in equipment maintenance, user support, and basic network support, to join its IT team. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Preventive and corrective maintenance of computer equipment (PCs, laptops, printers). * Diagnosis and resolution of hardware and software failures. * Installation, configuration, and restoration of Windows operating systems. * Hard drive cloning and data backup. * Installation and configuration of software, peripherals, and devices. * Technical support for internal users (help desk / on-site support). * Basic installation and configuration of LAN networks, printers, and shared folders. * Assistance in the installation of structured cabling, raceways, and video surveillance cameras. * Occasional travel to campuses within the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area. **REQUIREMENTS** * Technical high school diploma in Computer Science or Systems, or related bachelor’s degree. * Minimum of 1 year of experience in Technical Support or as a Systems Assistant. * Knowledge of hardware, software, basic networking, and operating systems. **COMPETENCIES** * Technical problem-solving * User-oriented service * Effective communication * Organization and attention to detail * Teamwork **WE OFFER** * Gross monthly salary ranging from $11,000 to $12,000, depending on experience. * Statutory benefits. * Job stability. * Positive work environment. * Opportunity for professional development. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 hrs.; Saturdays, 9:00–14:00 hrs. * Work location: Patria Campus.
