Key Responsibilities: 1. Non-conforming Product Control and procedure updates. 2. Raw material inspection, certificate verification, and sampling. 3. Execution of tests, sample preparation, and instrument calibration. A label manufacturing company with over 53 years of experience is seeking: Quality Intern. **Responsibilities:** * Non-conforming Product Control. * Maintain and update procedures, work instructions, and forms. * Inspect raw materials against technical specifications. * Verify supplier quality certificates. * Perform sampling according to inspection plans. * Release or reject materials in the system. * Identify and segregate non-conforming materials. * Record inspection results. * Coordinate returns or claims to suppliers. * Ensure proper material identification and traceability. * Conduct physical, chemical, or mechanical tests per procedures. * Prepare samples and measuring equipment. * Calibrate or verify instruments (per schedule). * Accurately record test results. * Interpret results against specifications. * Issue laboratory reports. * Maintain laboratory order, cleanliness, and appropriate conditions. * Detect deviations and report them. * Support implementation of the Food Safety Management System. **Required Skills / Competencies:** * Knowledge of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001\). * Ability to interpret technical specifications and drawings. * Proficiency in using measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers). * Knowledge of sampling and inspection techniques. * Execution and control of laboratory tests. * Documentation handling and record control. * Use of quality software (ERP, Excel, management systems). * Basic knowledge of metrology and calibration.
