




Job Summary: We are seeking a Quality Engineer to ensure that products meet the quality standards required by internal and external customers in the leather goods industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure product quality from raw materials to finished goods. 2. Manage and handle non-conformities and ensure continuous improvement. 3. Therefore, we are actively seeking our next talent. **QUALITY ENGINEER** **Job Objective:** Ensure that products meet the quality standards required by internal and external customers. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure that materials meet specified physical characteristics through inspection upon receipt at the warehouse. * Receive and inspect raw materials against authorized masters or approved samples. * Generate supplier return reports. * Track raw material non-conformities reported to Procurement and suppliers. * Guarantee that customer samples comply with agreed specifications. (Communication and tracking of products with contract manufacturers; attend meetings with contract manufacturers). * Deliver physical samples to contract manufacturers as references for customer requirements. * Establish and/or define quality criteria for release or rejection of finished products jointly with the customer. * Ensure products comply with specifications, quality standards, and regulations to meet customer requirements. * Inspect finished products against technical specifications and approved physical samples to verify compliance with quality standards. * Accompany and supervise pre-production processes and process audits jointly with contract manufacturers. * Manage and handle non-conformities arising during production. (Process audits) * Ensure product improvement through feedback on Poor Quality indices across each production process. * Identify issues and jointly develop action plans with contract manufacturers to guarantee finished product quality. * Ensure reliable processes supporting the product, thereby preventing customer complaints and returns. * Validate finished product quality at contract manufacturers. * Generate conformance reports and first-pass quality percentage reports. (Weekly) * Communicate rework or scrap due to poor quality to contract manufacturers when applicable. **Required Profile:** * Bachelor’s degree in Process Engineering or related field. * English level A2. * Experience in leather goods or footwear manufacturing. **Technical Skills:** * Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. * Quality tools. * Interaction with suppliers and/or customers. **We Offer:** * Monthly salary of $16,000–$18,000 MXN net (based on experience). * Statutory benefits. * Job stability. * Meal vouchers. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. * Weekly payroll.
