The Penetration Tester is responsible for assessing the organization’s security posture by performing controlled attack simulations against systems, applications, and infrastructure in order to identify vulnerabilities before they can be exploited by real threat actors. This role conducts penetration testing activities across web applications, APIs, internal networks, infrastructure, and cloud environments using recognized methodologies and specialized tools. The Penetration Tester analyzes results, validates the real\-world impact of identified vulnerabilities, and produces clear technical and executive\-level reports outlining risks and remediation recommendations. The position requires an offensive security mindset, strong analytical thinking, and deep knowledge of attack vectors, vulnerability exploitation, and evasion techniques. Close collaboration with development, infrastructure, and defensive security teams is expected to ensure findings are well understood and effectively addressed.
