Strengthen prevention of occupational diseases An industrial company located at the Port of Altamira, Tamaulipas, is offering the position of Medical Services Manager, responsible for coordinating and managing occupational health activities, risk prevention, and medical care for personnel within the industrial plant. Position Objective Coordinate, supervise, and manage the company’s Medical Services to ensure employees’ holistic health through occupational medicine programs, epidemiological surveillance, risk prevention, and primary medical care. The position aims to ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, strengthen prevention of occupational diseases, and support the company’s operational continuity through occupational health strategies. Main Responsibilities * Conduct pre-employment, periodic, and special medical examinations based on job-related risks. * Coordinate the company’s response to medical emergencies. * Supervise proper implementation of first aid protocols. * Train and coordinate emergency response teams. * Analyze health indicators related to accidents, morbidity, and absenteeism. * Support the Industrial Safety department in hazard identification and risk assessment. * Participate in investigations of work-related accidents and occupational diseases. * Implement industrial ergonomics programs and prevention of musculoskeletal injuries. * Implement vaccination campaigns, preventive health initiatives, and promotion of healthy lifestyles. * Manage the Medical Services inventory. * Provide primary medical care to company personnel. * Monitor employees with work restrictions or limitations. * Participate in internal and external audits of the Quality Management System. * Timely report relevant events affecting operational continuity to Human Resources. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) * Reduction of workplace accidents. * Reduction of medically-related absenteeism. * Response time to medical emergencies. * Compliance with occupational health surveillance programs. * Employee participation in preventive health campaigns. Requirements Gender: Unrestricted Marital Status: Unrestricted Education: Bachelor’s degree in Medicine; specialization in Occupational Medicine or Occupational Health preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience as an Industrial Physician or in Occupational Health Services within industrial companies.
