Professional development An industrial company located at the Port of Altamira, Tamaulipas, is offering the position of Mechanical Supervisor, responsible for coordinating and supervising mechanical maintenance activities in industrial and petrochemical facilities. Job Objective Coordinate and supervise mechanical maintenance activities at the plant to ensure industrial equipment reliability and availability. The position aims to guarantee proper execution of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on mechanical equipment, as well as supervision of operational staff and contractors to ensure continuous plant operations under safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Main Responsibilities * Supervise mechanical maintenance activities on industrial equipment. * Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance tasks. * Supervise operational staff and maintenance crews. * Diagnose failures in rotating equipment and mechanical systems. * Supervise maintenance and repair of industrial pumps. * Knowledge of and inspection of mechanical seals. * Supervise welding, sheet metal work, and mechanical assembly tasks. * Evaluate corrosion conditions and propose maintenance actions. * Supervise installation and alignment of rotating equipment. * Coordinate disassembly and assembly tasks for mechanical equipment. * Supervise industrial lubrication programs. * Verify compliance with industrial safety procedures. * Coordinate tasks with production and maintenance departments. * Supervise contractors and mechanical service providers. * Prepare technical maintenance reports and equipment condition reports.
