




Job Summary: Ensure the proper operation, preservation, and repair of machinery, equipment, and facilities in corrugated cardboard production plants, leading maintenance activities and promoting safety. Development of maintenance strategies and continuous improvement Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field (certified) **Job Objective** Ensure and guarantee the proper operation, preservation, and repair of plant machinery, equipment, and facilities to maintain operational continuity. **Experience** Minimum five years of maintenance and general services experience at supervisory/managerial level in corrugated cardboard production plants. Experience with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation systems. Knowledge of SAP; management of operational personnel; 5S methodology. Ability to manage multiple priorities to meet internal and external customer needs. Demonstrated effective problem-solving skills. Training or experience in 5 Whys or RCFA. Proactive in tracking and resolving issues, with personal accountability and accountability for direct reports. Proficiency in managing complex safety systems (ZES, confined spaces, hot work, etc.). High level of safety knowledge and commitment. Leadership competencies. Act with ethics and integrity. High level of trust and responsibility. Intermediate–advanced English. **Job Responsibilities:** Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor/Planner and local leadership team to schedule predictive/preventive maintenance activities and ensure all equipment remains in good working condition; guarantee safe, timely, and satisfactory completion of corrective maintenance work. Promptly report any situation that may impede plant operations as soon as it is identified, while providing technical expertise regarding plant equipment and facilities. Technical knowledge to foster a safety culture. Maintain appropriate spare parts inventories and procure materials, components, and supplies as needed. Participate in developing the maintenance budget and the department’s strategic business plan. Plan, schedule, and supervise the timely completion of maintenance work orders. Collaborate with the Maintenance Supervisor/Planner on maintenance project planning, including staffing (employees and contractors), adherence to project budgets, ensuring required parts are in inventory, coordinating with the production team to schedule downtime, and ensuring work orders are entered into the system, updated, and completed throughout the project. **Competencies:** People supervision skills.
