




**Position Objective** Support the proper accounting and administrative management of the company, ensuring timely recording of financial transactions, basic tax compliance, and orderly documentation, while providing support to the accounting department and gaining practical experience in an industrial environment. **Main Responsibilities** * **Accounting Cycle Oversight:** Validate the recording of invoices, expenses, fixed assets, and depreciation. * **Tax Management:** Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, Withholdings) and respond to external audits or requirements from tax authorities. * **Payroll Control:** Oversee salary calculations for 100 employees, ensuring correct payment of social security contributions and statutory benefits. * **Financial Statement Preparation:** Prepare monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. * **Internal Control:** Establish policies for petty cash, travel allowances, and inventory control. * Provide timely accounting and financial information to the Administration and Finance Directorate to support strategic decision-making, including financial performance reports and scenario analysis. * **Banking Management:** Supervise bank reconciliations and schedule supplier payments according to cash flow priorities. * Perform all activities related to the group’s general accounting, including preparation and review of journal entries, trial balances, and monthly and annual closing procedures. * Review and, where applicable, implement changes in accounting and tax regulations that may arise during the calendar year to ensure proper departmental operation. * Timely preparation and submission of financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) in accordance with applicable accounting standards: IFRS, US GAAP. * Prepare and issue cost accounting reports, ensuring accurate allocation of product and service costs and analyzing their profitability. * Maintain an updated and safeguarded Fixed Asset File. * Manage and prepare the group’s financial accounting, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and bank reconciliations. * Ensure and verify correct application of accounting standards. * Schedule and conduct monthly reviews to ensure integrity of accounts and information presented in financial statements, as well as account cleanup. * Perform monthly closings and pre-closings timely and accurately, considering all accruals. * Maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets, prevent fraud and errors, and prepare the organization for internal and external audits. * Responsible for identifying and managing financial risks associated with accounting, ensuring appropriate measures are taken to mitigate them.
