We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced **Senior IT Project Manager** to lead our development teams on high-impact projects. The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with a strong technical foundation, enabling deep understanding of development, infrastructure, and deployment challenges—making informed decisions and guiding their team to success. **Contract Type:** Professional Fees. **Work Modality:** On-site. **Key Responsibilities:** * Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure of software development projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, budget, and quality. * Manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams of developers, QA professionals, and other specialists. * Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, maintaining clear and transparent communication regarding project progress, risks, and opportunities. * Develop and maintain project documentation: charters, project plans, schedules, budgets, and status reports. * Proactively manage project risks, issues, and scope changes. * Ensure adoption of best-practice methodologies (agile such as Scrum, Kanban, and/or traditional, depending on the project). * Collaborate with architects and tech leads to define technically viable solutions, considering deployment infrastructure. **Requirements and Experience (Must-Have):** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or Engineering in Systems, Computer Science, IT, or related field (**Professional License Required**) * **Experience:** Minimum of 2 **years** as a Project Manager in software development environments * **Demonstrable Technical Experience** in the following stacks: * **Languages:** Java (Senior), PHP (Senior) * **Java EE Frameworks and Technologies:** Spring Boot, **Servlets**, JSP * **PHP Frameworks:** Laravel * **Databases:** Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL * **Application and Web Servers:** Experience administering and deploying on **JBoss/WildFly**, **GlassFish**, and **Apache HTTP Server** * **Version Control:** Advanced proficiency in GIT * **Infrastructure and Cloud:** * Virtualization * Containers: Docker. Knowledge of Docker Compose and orchestration (Kubernetes is a plus) * Operating Systems: Linux (RHEL or Red Hat derivatives) and Windows * **Methodologies:** Certified or demonstrable experience in agile (Scrum Master, Product Owner) and hybrid methodologies * **Soft Skills:** Leadership, assertive communication, problem-solving, stakeholder management, critical thinking, and results orientation **Desirable:** * Certifications: PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master (PSM, CSM), ITIL * Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI) * Experience with project management tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence) * Public cloud knowledge (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) * Basic networking and information security knowledge * Familiarity with other servers such as Nginx or Tomcat Job Type: Fixed-term or project-based Contract Duration: 6 months Salary: $30,000.00 – $35,000.00 per month Benefits: * Transportation allowance or service * Company parking * Gym membership Education: * Completed bachelor’s degree (Mandatory) License/Certification: * Professional license (Mandatory) Work Location: On-site employment
