




Job Summary: Instrumentation and DCS Engineer responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and reliability programs to ensure the safe and efficient operation of plant assets. Participate in budget planning and cost control. **Job Objective** The Instrumentation and DCS Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance and reliability programs focused on Distributed Control Systems (DCS), instrumentation, and associated electrical systems, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient plant asset operation in alignment with industry standards and business objectives. **Key Responsibilities** * Plan and execute maintenance and reliability programs for instrumentation, DCS, and PLC systems. * Coordinate routine maintenance activities, projects, plant shutdowns, and turnarounds. * Manage work orders, backlog, costs, and technical maintenance reports. * Supervise and coordinate contractor personnel and specialized vendors. * Analyze failures, incidents, and abnormal events; conduct root cause analysis. * Develop and review technical specifications for equipment repair, upgrade, or procurement. * Collaborate with Operations, Process Engineering, Maintenance, and HSSE teams. * Ensure compliance with safety, HSSE, Process Safety Management (PSM), and sound engineering practices. * Prepare technical reports, trend analyses, and improvement proposals. * Participate in departmental budget planning and cost control. * Provide specialized technical support during plant contingencies and critical situations. **Essential Technical Knowledge:** * Distributed Control Systems (DCS). * PLCs and industrial instrumentation systems. * Maintenance and reliability in process plants. * PHA / HAZOP and Process Safety Management (PSM). * Applicable engineering codes and standards. * ERP systems and Office software suite (Intermediate/Advanced Excel).
