We are looking for a highly qualified professional to fill the position of Cyber Security Specialist in our company, with proven experience in cybersecurity, identification, documentation, and tracking of Information Security Risks. Knowledge of Security Frameworks: NIST, ISO. Conversational and written English proficiency; this position involves significant interaction with technical teams in Toronto. Knowledge of Mexican regulations regarding Information Security for: Banks, Brokerage Firms, Fintech companies, or Insurance Companies. Cloud security. International certifications: ISO, PCI, (ISC)², ISACA, CSA. **Responsibilities and Authorities** * Provide Information Security consulting for initiatives and projects, focusing on identifying security risks. Ensuring that projects incorporate recommendations. * The candidate must be familiar with and adopt the Policy, Standards, Processes, and Security Guidelines published by the Global Security team. All advice provided must align with and be grounded in this documentation. * Must establish networking relationships with various stakeholders involved both in project-related areas (development, architecture, processes, business, etc.) and in control definition areas (Compliance and Privacy), as well as with security specialists in Toronto and Mexico. * The primary deliverable is the corresponding documentation for risk and threat analysis, reflecting identified risks, existing controls, and action plans to address documented risks. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Higher education degree in Information Technologies or Exact Sciences, or a degree in Cybersecurity * Minimum of **5 years** of experience in the field * **Identification, documentation, and tracking of Information Security Risks** * Proficiency in **Security Frameworks**: NIST, ISO * Strong verbal and written communication skills * Strong organizational and time management skills * **English** proficiency at conversational and written levels * Knowledge of Mexican regulations regarding **Information Security** for: Banks, Brokerage Firms, Fintech companies, or Insurance Companies.
