A manufacturing-sector company is seeking a Cost Manager to lead the department, ensuring control, analysis, and optimization of operational costs. The incumbent will be responsible for generating strategic financial information to support decision-making, identifying opportunities for efficiency and profitability in production processes. Key Responsibilities: * Design, implement, and supervise the company’s cost accounting system. * Analyze the production cost structure (raw materials, labor, and overhead). * Prepare periodic reports on variances and deviations against budget. * Develop proposals for cost improvement and reduction without compromising quality or productivity. * Collaborate with Production, Finance, and Procurement departments to ensure accurate and timely information. * Establish departmental performance indicators and monitor results. * Participate in budget preparation and financial forecasting. Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or Industrial Engineering (preferably with a specialization in cost accounting). * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in cost accounting within manufacturing or production companies. * Solid knowledge of standard costing, job-order costing, and activity-based costing (ABC). * Knowledge of BOMs (Bills of Materials). * Advanced proficiency in Excel and ERP systems. * Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and results-oriented mindset. * Leadership ability and teamwork skills.
