Join our team to continue building our success story together. **Job Description** -------------------------- As a Baker, you will be responsible for working closely with a team to mix and bake ingredients, preparing a variety of high-quality breads, rolls, cookies, cakes, pies, pastries, and other baked goods for our guests. You will also serve as a work supervisor, ensuring the efficiency and productivity of the commercial support team. **Job Functions and Responsibilities** -------------------------------------------- * Mix and bake ingredients following recipes and guidelines to produce a variety of breads, rolls, cookies, cakes, pastries, and other baked goods. * Supervise and support the commercial support team, ensuring efficiency and quality in their work, and stepping in to perform tasks when necessary. * Analyze and resolve ongoing issues, working to improve bakery processes, systems, and operations. * Ensure all products are prepared and stored in accordance with hygiene and food safety standards. * Evaluate the quality and freshness of ingredients and baked goods, taking corrective action when required. * Work effectively within established policies and practices, consistently delivering high-quality baked goods. * Train new bakers as needed, sharing knowledge and experience for the benefit of the team. * Maintain a clean and organized workplace, ensuring safety and efficiency in the bakery environment. * Complete any additional tasks or responsibilities assigned. **Work Experience** ----------------------- * Serves as a work supervisor for a commercial support team. * May spend part of the time performing the work being supervised. * Accountable for team outcomes. * Works within established policies and practices. * Analyzes information to resolve ongoing problems. * Has 5 or more years of work experience. **Competencies** ---------------- Leadership Problem Solving Teamwork and Collaboration Accountability Commercial Experience Advocating for Guest Needs Self-Development Impact Interpersonal Skills Functional Job Knowledge**Education** ------------- * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * A combination of education and experience will be considered. **Certifications** ------------------- * Certifications may be required or preferred.
