Capital Empresarial Horizonte, a Mexican company specializing in Human Resources and Information Technologies, is seeking: Azure Virtual Desktop Infrastructure Engineer **Conversational English required** **Hybrid work model (3 days remote \- 2 days on-site)** **Position based in Querétaro** As an Azure Virtual Desktop Engineer, the focus is on defining and/or delivering infrastructure architectures in Azure Virtual Desktop, defining actions and initiatives for their implementation. **Requirements:** **More than 5 years of experience** * Experience **designing Azure Virtual Desktop architecture.** * **Installation and configuration of Microsoft AVD technologies**, including host pools, AVD images, and scaling. * **Management of Azure Active Directory** for systems related to Azure Virtual Desktop. * **Administration and support of AVD clusters** and high-availability systems. * Analysis of system performance indicators and recommendation of improvement actions for production configurations based on AVD. * Support in organizing and managing enterprise applications installed on Azure VD; improving and tuning Azure VD. * **Demonstrable technical experience operating cloud-based VDI, managing Azure Virtual Desktop / WVD, FSLogix, App Attach.** * Experience **designing user identities and profiles.** * Experience implementing and managing **networks and storage for AVD.** * Experience creating managed VDI host pools, both pooled (shared) and personal. * Experience designing, developing, and debugging scalable End User Computing solutions. * Advanced knowledge of image creation, customization, and updates. * **Participation in L2/L3 operational support.** * Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems. * Understanding of networking (DNS, firewall/proxy, micro-segmentation) and storage virtualization. * Knowledge of the image creation process and its best practices. * How to create a host pool for a new instance. * How to create a virtual machine in existing host pools. * How to configure MSIX AppAttach and add an application. * Bicep code updates: how to configure a new host pool, make modifications, and understand the process from testing to production. **We offer:** * Office hours * 100% payroll scheme * Salary open to negotiation based on experience * Statutory benefits * Enhanced benefits (family SGMM, SV 1 million, grocery vouchers, 30-day bonus, PTU)
