Job Summary: AFL is seeking a Junior Metrology Engineer to ensure accurate product measurement and compliance with quality standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Ensure quality in product measurement processes. 2. Handle advanced measurement software and equipment (CMM). 3. Interpret drawings and prepare technical documentation. We are expanding and seeking talent for the position of: "Junior Metrology Engineer" Requirements: * Engineering degree or completed bachelor’s program. * 3 years of experience in measurement and metrology processes. * English proficiency at B1 level. Technical Skills: * Drawing interpretation, proficiency in measurement software, knowledge of measurement equipment, CMMs: Keyence, Zeiss, Nikon, etc.; communication; preparation of documentation (procedures, work instructions, forms, among others). Activities: * Ensure that processes related to measurement of new or in-process products are performed according to established procedures, thereby ensuring compliance with customer requirements and AFL Telecommunications’ Quality objectives. Responsibilities: * All inspections are conducted in accordance with documented procedures, inspection plans, and drawings. * Timely and proper completion of “First Article Inspections” (FAIs). * All measurement equipment is calibrated and in good working condition (machines and all measurement instruments used in the area). * Preventive maintenance of machines is tracked and performed. * Metrology department documents and metrics are up-to-date, accurate, and communicated.
