Leading Telecommunications Company Seeks: Installation Technician: COMPLETED HIGH SCHOOL EDUCATION (Technical degree in telecommunications, electronics, or related field preferred) At least 1 year of experience in a similar position VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE (Mandatory) KNOWLEDGE IN: Networks: TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, VLANs, high availability, redundancy. Configuration of Routing & Switching, LAN, WAN, topologies, equipment configuration, implementation of network changes, etc. VLANs, firewall configuration, VPNs, routers and switches, APs, structured cabling, theoretical knowledge of Ekahau and GPON networks, wireless networks, very basic knowledge of PBX, CCTV Installation and cabling for Wi-Fi networks and Ruckus, Cisco or Brocade brands, certification or courses in Working at Heights (DC3) *Installations - Experience in identifying faults, root causes, equipment replacement, and installation of new equipment. - Reporting of evidence, activity descriptions, and escalation to third parties.
