EDUCATION: II, IMA, IME or related field KNOWLEDGE: * Advanced Excel proficiency * Customer attention and service * Types of steel * Customer prospecting * Invoicing RESPONSIBILITIES: * Ensure compliance with customer requirements by providing attentive service to foster longer and more fruitful business relationships. * Receive inventory from shipments and production to account for materials and keep customers informed about inventory status at the plant via a database (Excel). * Enter data (Excel file) regarding steel to be produced, material with specific conditions, and finished products to better analyze materials pending receipt, processing, or collection. * Review raw material inventories in the company’s system to schedule work orders. * Generate work orders for the production department and request delivery dates to confirm with customers when finished products will be delivered. * Monitor steel procurement to avoid failure to meet customer delivery deadlines.
