Job Objective: Analyze, structure, and generate quotations for electronic assemblies (PCBA) and complete box builds, integrating electronic and mechanical components as well as manufacturing processes. Ensure quotations reflect actual costs, correct production processes, and appropriate margins for the company. Technical Skills: Analysis of electronic and mechanical BOMs. Costing of manufacturing processes (PCBA, mechanical assembly, wiring harnesses, box build). Basic knowledge of electronics (components, PCBs, SMT processes). Interpretation of mechanical drawings, blueprints, and assemblies. Evaluation of production processes, cycle times, and labor requirements. Ability to identify technical and production risks in new projects. Technical communication with engineering, procurement, and production teams. Responsibilities: Generate PCBA and box build quotations considering materials, processes, and labor. Analyze mixed BOMs (electronic + mechanical) and validate their production feasibility. Coordinate with the procurement department for component and material quotations. Collaborate with engineering to clarify designs and special processes. Evaluate costs of internal and subcontracted processes (injection molding, wiring harnesses, machining). Propose cost-saving improvements, alternative materials, or process options. Provide technical support to the sales department during client negotiations.
