Develop and communicate the SHE management plan for a project and ensure its effective implementation. Monitor site standards, recognizing strong performance while challenging and managing poor performance. Communicate with local authorities as well as Nestlé stakeholders. **A Day in the Life of...** 1. Ensure compliance with legislation, as well as Nestlé’s SHE principles and standards, by integrating SHE into various project phases: planning, operational reviews, design for construction, and service provider management. 2. Develop the project’s SHE management plan and communicate it to project leadership and service providers. Ensure the plan includes effective risk management procedures for worker guidance and training, such as: Risk Analysis, Safe Work Method Statement, Risk Forecasting, Lifting Calculations, Specific Permits for High-Risk Tasks (Working at Heights, Excavations, Load Lifting, Hot Work, Confined Spaces, Electrical Work, Pipelines Carrying Hazardous Fluids, Demolitions), as well as a site-specific Emergency Plan. The management plan may be updated throughout the project lifecycle as risks evolve across different project phases. 3. Ensure a safe and healthy worksite: Guarantee safe access and egress routes, appropriate signage highlighting relevant project hazards, implementation of high standards of health and hygiene for workers, and appropriate emergency medical response. 4. Ensure safe work practices: Implement site risk management procedures. Guarantee implementation of specific workplace safety practices focused on high-frequency hazards, including: slips, trips and falls at floor level; injuries caused by sharp points and edges; and high-risk tasks (Working at Heights, Excavations, Load Lifting, Hot Work, Confined Spaces, Electrical Work, Pipelines Carrying Hazardous Fluids, Demolitions). 5. Develop knowledge of managers and team leaders through training to enhance their understanding of risk management under applicable regulations. Provide support and coaching to the site management team. 6. Provide support and coaching: Ensure managers receive guidance and support on SHE matters. Identify and leverage best practices from both within and outside Nestlé. Coordinate internal and external resources to deliver high-quality, efficient SHE support. Conduct on-site monitoring to identify exposures and training needs. 7.
