If you are looking to grow professionally and apply your expertise, join us! **REQUIREMENTS:** The Quality Manager will be responsible for leading, designing, and overseeing quality management systems to ensure all products comply with customers’ technical and legal specifications. The primary focus will be on scrap reduction and optimization of vulcanization processes. **Key Responsibilities:** QMS Management: Maintain and improve ISO 9001:2015 certifications (and IATF 16949 where applicable). Compound Control: Supervise laboratory testing of raw materials (rheometry, viscosity, density) to validate physical properties prior to molding. Supplier Management: Audit suppliers of raw materials (carbon black, polymers, accelerators) to ensure batch consistency. Continuous Improvement: Lead projects to minimize defects such as bubbles, incomplete filling, or variations in Shore hardness. Customer Service: Manage customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis (8D, 5 Whys), and ensure corrective actions are effective. **Technical Profile:** Education: Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5\-7 years in the rubber or elastomer industry. Specific Knowledge: Proficiency in vulcanization processes and compound formulation. Operation of laboratory equipment (Rheometers, Tensile Testers, Durometers). In-depth knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA). Regulatory Standards: Familiarity with ASTM standards specific to rubber. Competencies: Team Leadership: Ability to manage floor auditors and inspectors. Analytical Thinking: Ability to interpret statistical process control charts and trends. Assertive Communication: Ability to halt production lines when quality is at risk, justifying the financial impact.
