MAJOR CORRUGATED PACKAGING COMPANY REQUIRES: **"PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR"** **Education Level:** BACHELOR'S DEGREE OR ENGINEERING DEGREE **Industry:** CORRUGATED PACKAGING **Experience:** 2 YEARS AS PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR IN MANUFACTURING **Responsibilities:** Execute the production schedule previously provided by the Production Manager; post the daily production schedule per machine on bulletin boards. In the absence of the Production Manager, deliver the cutting schedule to the Warehouse department. Ensure all orders comply with specifications and guidelines established in the order sheet. Ensure operators correctly execute production planning. Report machine startup, including the order to be cut. Supervise the guillotine cutting and rewinding processes, as well as tasks performed by the Guillotine and Rewinder Operators. Maintain a control log to ensure labeling personnel pass all pallets containing sheeted material through the sheet counter. Control waste to achieve targets. Ensure operators under supervision correctly feed the Vorne system. Manage and administer an efficient operation in the production area and its processes; supervise all operational staff. Supervise that finished products meet customer-required tolerances and specifications. Review inventory of recovered pallets. Correctly request required quantity and dimensions of pallets, prioritizing the number of recovered pallets and ensuring the carpentry area remains orderly with pedestrian walkways clear. Request supplies from Warehouse, such as strapping, polystretch, staples, wood, etc. Track execution of equipment and machinery maintenance schedules in coordination with the operator.
