Supervises the maintenance of facilities.  Orders and supervises equipment repairs.  Estimates the time and materials required to carry out maintenance and repair tasks.  Reports to the immediate supervisor on maintenance and repairs performed.  Conducts inspections of facilities to detect failures and recommend appropriate repairs.  Plans, coordinates, and controls preventive and corrective maintenance of electrical, electronic, and/or mechanical equipment and systems.  Monitors maintenance and repairs carried out.  Identifies failures, difficulties, and/or problems arising during work execution and determines the best solution.  Processes material requisitions for maintenance and repairs.  Estimates the cost of necessary repairs.  Attends to service requests and complaints regarding maintenance and repairs to resolve these issues.  Complies with the organization’s comprehensive safety standards and procedures.  Keeps equipment and workplace orderly, reporting any anomalies.  Prepares periodic reports on activities performed.  Performs any other related duties assigned.  Maintains records of maintenance routines in form FOR\-MTO\-01 according to the established Maintenance Program.
