




Job Summary: Supports the recording, control, and analysis of accounting and tax-related operations, ensuring accurate integration of financial information and compliance with tax obligations. Supporting accounting closings, financial reporting, and tax audits. Purpose of the Position Support the recording, control, and analysis of accounting and tax-related operations, ensuring accurate integration of financial information and compliance with tax obligations under SAT, IMSS, and INFONAVIT regulations. Process payroll and contribute to orderly and accurate accounting practices while learning and implementing sound accounting and tax practices. · Key Responsibilities Record accounting entries (revenues, expenses, journal entries, and payroll) in the accounting system. Capture and classify digital fiscal receipts (CFDI) and supporting documentation for transactions. · Support bank reconciliations and review of accounting entries. · Prepare monthly provisional tax returns (VAT, Income Tax, SUA, withholdings), under supervision of immediate supervisor. · Collaborate on calculating federal and local taxes for legal entities and individuals. · Support monthly and annual accounting closings, as well as preparation of working papers. · Maintain up-to-date accounting and tax files for clients. · Support tax reviews and audits by compiling required documentation. · Prepare basic financial statement reports (balance sheet, income statement, subsidiary ledgers). · Maintain confidentiality of the company’s financial and tax information. · Clean up accounting accounts and ensure correct submission of electronic accounting to SAT. · Payroll: a) Preparation and calculation of weekly/biweekly/monthly payroll. b) Calculation of payroll-related taxes (Income Tax, IMSS, etc.). c) Preparation and filing of payroll-related tax returns. d) Managing employee onboarding and offboarding in the payroll system. e) Addressing employee inquiries related to payroll. f) Calculating severance payments and settlements. Job Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Public Accounting Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in similar positions. Knowledge: Solid knowledge of accounting and federal tax determination (Income Tax and VAT). Experience managing payroll and calculating payroll-related taxes. Proficiency in accounting software. Proficiency in Office suite (Intermediate Excel). Position Type: Full-time Salary: $15,000.00 - $18,000.00 per month Benefits: * Food vouchers Work Location: On-site employment
