




Job Summary: The Food Warehouse Worker is responsible for receiving, organizing, storing, and rotating merchandise, ensuring product quality and adhering to food safety guidelines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Warehouse organization and merchandise handling 2. Ensuring product quality and freshness 3. Complying with food safety guidelines FOOD WAREHOUSE WORKER Receive and organize merchandise by department, accurately indicate storage locations within the facility, and deliver merchandise to the appropriate department. Stack received merchandise on pallets or carts. Complete inventory and supply requisition forms. Promptly notify the manager or supervisor of low inventory levels. Receive deliveries, properly store perishable products, and rotate stock. Inspect deliveries and dates to verify freshness, cleanliness, integrity, and quality of all box lots. Reject damaged, unacceptable, or incorrect items. Follow food safety guidelines and handling policies and procedures for all food-related areas. Organize, clean, and disinfect all refrigerators, freezers, floors, food equipment, and drains. Remove empty pallets, cardboard boxes, and waste, placing them in designated storage areas. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe working conditions to the manager; complete safety training and obtain safety certifications. Comply with all company policies and procedures, ensure uniform and personal appearance are neat and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Communicate with guests and colleagues using clear, appropriate, and professional language. Cultivate and maintain positive working relationships with others; support the team in achieving common goals. Adhere to quality assurance expectations and standards. Stretch, bend, twist, crawl, and stoop; grasp, turn, and manipulate objects; climb regular stairs and/or service ramps; move, lift, or carry objects weighing 50 pounds or less; stand, sit, or walk for extended periods. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
