




* Supervise food preparation and ensure recipes and standards are followed. * Coordinate production timelines so dishes are served on time and presented properly. * Resolve operational issues during service. * Assign tasks to the kitchen team (cooks, assistants, dishwashers). * Train staff in techniques, hygiene, and procedures. * Supervise punctuality, order, and discipline. * Foster a positive work environment. * Ensure compliance with hygiene and sanitation regulations (cleaning, food handling, temperatures). * Verify proper use of uniforms, gloves, and equipment. * Prevent risks and accidents in the kitchen. * Review and control inventories (food, supplies, utensils). * Place orders on time and avoid losses. * Monitor expiration dates and ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO). * Control dish costs. * Avoid waste. * Maintain consistent quality and flavor. * Keep basic records (inventories, losses, incidents). * Report equipment failures or needs to the manager or owner. * Support menu creation or improvement, if required.
