





A prominent textile company is seeking: **Sewing Plant Manager** Profile Education: Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering or Garment Engineering Experience: 5 years in a similar position Knowledge: · Sewing Processes · Administrative Processes · Production Processes · Quality and productivity systems · Overlock, Collarete, Flat, Straight sewing machines Job Responsibilities: · Weekly achievement of the production plan to ensure on-time delivery of production schedules according to required quality, packaging, and quantity, guaranteeing 100% compliance with the production program. · Ensure profitability of the business unit under responsibility by meeting and establishing performance indicators. · Ensure all personnel within the business unit are properly trained and fulfill their job responsibilities, including sewing staff meeting required efficiency standards. · Coordinate with the Toluca engineering department to correctly define and standardize SAMS for each sewing operation, verifying that the plant's engineering staff carries out necessary actions for accurate definitions. · Coordinate and verify that the sewing plant engineering staff and instructors take necessary actions to ensure sewing personnel follow the correct operating methods on the production line. Carry out necessary actions to ensure plant efficiency reaches 70% for external plants and 90% for internal plants. · Carry out necessary actions to ensure high product quality, enabling gradual reduction of seconds, thirds, repairs, and customer rejections. · Coordinate and participate with the human resources department in developing plans, programs, and initiatives aimed at attracting, retaining, and motivating sewing plant personnel to reduce turnover, absenteeism, and tardiness, increase employee satisfaction, and maintain good labor relations with the union. · Coordinate and verify with the relevant department the implementation of preventive and predictive maintenance programs to ensure efficient equipment operation and continuous production throughout the work shift. · Coordinate and ensure with sewing engineering that proper production balancing exists across all production lines so supervisors can execute them and meet daily production targets. · Coordinate and develop with subordinate personnel the implementation of documented procedures in all critical areas of the company to systematize production, quality, shipping, and production safety, and verify compliance. · Ensure and immediately implement corrective actions when established procedures are not being followed in the plant. · Ensure productivity of every resource within the plant under responsibility. · Plan, organize, and establish goals and objectives with the team for each direct report, ensuring these goals align with performance indicators and business vision, and verify goal achievement. · Plan and coordinate regular meetings with Production Management to monitor the plant's sewing process.
