




Job Summary: Ensure the operation, availability, and safety of presses and mechanical equipment through preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. Key Responsibilities: 1. Maintenance of mechanical and hydraulic presses. 2. Diagnosis of mechanical failures and adjustment of components. 3. Collaboration with electrical maintenance and proposal of improvements. **Job Objective** Ensure the proper operation, availability, and safety of the plant’s presses and mechanical equipment through preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance activities, minimizing unplanned downtime and operational risks. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform **preventive and corrective maintenance** on mechanical and hydraulic presses. * Diagnose mechanical failures in transmission systems, dies, bearings, connecting rods, clutches, brakes, and hydraulic systems. * Carry out **adjustments, alignments, lubrication, and replacement of mechanical components**. * Support die and auxiliary equipment assembly and disassembly. * Verify mechanical safety conditions before releasing equipment to production. * Record maintenance activities in logbooks or CMMS. * Collaborate with electrical maintenance when joint intervention is required. * Comply with **safety, order, and cleanliness (5S)** standards. * Propose improvements to reduce recurring failures and downtime. **Technical Knowledge and Skills** * Maintenance of **mechanical and hydraulic presses**. * Mechanical systems: transmission, bearings, gears, basic hydraulics, and basic pneumatics. * Interpretation of **mechanical drawings and technical manuals**. * Use of hand tools and measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, comparators, etc.). * Basic knowledge of industrial safety and lockout/tagout (LOTO). **Job Requirements** * Technical degree in Mechanical Maintenance, Industrial Mechanics, or related field. * Minimum **1–3 years** of experience in metal-mechanical plants (experience with presses preferred). * Flexible working hours. * Physical work capability and ability to respond to emergencies.
