Substitutions are contracted on a per-day basis.** As a Hipocampus Substitute Educator, you will have the opportunity to: * Create meaningful learning experiences for the children attending the center. * Familiarize yourself with Hipocampus’s educational model and, if the opportunity arises, apply for the Community Educator position. **Experience and Knowledge** * Bachelor’s degree in Preschool Education, Educational Intervention, Basic Education, Educational Psychology, or related field. **Skills** * Establish high-quality interactions, demonstrating understanding of children’s emotional states and sensitivity in responses. * Promote children’s learning by attentively observing their initiatives and encouraging exploration. * Recognize and value parents’ and caregivers’ strengths. * Remain open and receptive to new knowledge. * Maintain professional personal appearance. **Main Activities and Responsibilities** * Carry out daily activities according to the established methodology, daily schedule, and routine work phases. * Keep the classroom and common areas clean and orderly. * Ensure teaching materials are complete, clean, organized, and within children’s reach. * Foster a pleasant work environment by being honest, clear, and discreet in handling information.
