**Project Name:** Decarbonization Investment Roadmap Framework **Area:** Business Planning **Business Unit:** Central **Office Location (Where the intern will be based in\-person):** Ricardo Margain Candidate Requirements: Must be studying in an international university **Current Year:** Sophomore or Junior **Career(s) of Interest:** Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics ### **Internship Description** **Project Objective** Support the enhancement of tools and processes used to manage the CO₂ investment roadmap for Scope 1 emissions reduction projects. **Challenges for the Student** * Developing a solid understanding of the business context * Managing ambiguity, uncertainty, and incomplete information * Coordinating with diverse stakeholders and adapting to varying priorities and working styles **Main Responsibilities and Activities** * Review current tools used to track Scope 1 CO₂ projects (templates, BI tools, systems) – Identify gaps and inconsistencies – Map available vs. missing data * Evaluate the existing analysis structure to ensure proper alignment among stakeholders (Operations, Sustainability, Planning, etc.) * Support the creation of guidelines and processes that strengthen data accuracy and output quality, enabling the tool to become a reliable input for strategic decision‑making **Specific Requirements, Technical and Soft Skills** * Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel * Ability to work with datasets from multiple sources * Basic understanding of financial and business concepts * Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail * Ability to translate data into clear insights and conclusions * Effective communication skills
