Focus on workplace safety and quality JOB PROFILE – INDUSTRIAL / MINING WELDER **Job Objective:** Perform welding and repair work on metal structures, components, and heavy machinery, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance with established standards at mining sites or projects. Main Responsibilities: * Perform SMAW (shielded metal arc welding), MIG and/or TIG welding. * Repair buckets, hoppers, chassis, and heavy machinery components. * Fabricate and assemble metal structures. * Interpret welding blueprints and symbols. * Perform oxy-fuel and plasma cutting. * Apply hard-facing materials. * Comply with safety regulations and proper use of PPE. * Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities. Requirements: * Minimum education: Completed secondary school. * Minimum experience: 2 years in industrial or mining welding. * Knowledge of heavy machinery (desirable). * Availability to work on-site or at project locations. * Knowledge of industrial safety.
