Position Summary: We are seeking a Plastic Injection Mold Technician with experience in preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications of molds, and the ability to work as part of a team. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in preventive and corrective mold maintenance. 2. Proficiency in grinding, milling, lathe, CNC, and welding. 3. Knowledge of blueprint interpretation and geometric tolerances. **\*EXPERIENCE IN:** MOLD TECHNICIAN IN PLASTIC INJECTION **KNOWLEDGE:** • Operation of grinding, milling, lathe, and CNC processes; fine mold adjustments; mold polishing; mold component fabrication and spare parts production. • Blueprint interpretation and knowledge of geometric tolerances; understanding of mold manufacturing and repair processes. • Mirror-finish mold polishing. • Hot runner systems. • Welding process operation; shaping geometries and seal adjustment using hand tools (e.g., moto-tool, reciprocating tool, fitting files, etc). **REQUIRED SOFTWARE:** Teamwork. Availability. Customer service. Sense of urgency. **COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:** 1\. Perform preventive mold maintenance according to the annual schedule. 2\. Assist the Mold Supervisor/Manager as required for mold maintenance tasks. 3\. Assemble and disassemble molds for cleaning, repair, or engineering changes. 4\. Support production in corrective actions and mold-related service issues. 5\. Perform and document preventive and corrective mold maintenance. 6\. Request mold spare parts as applicable. 7\. Repair hot runner systems. 8\. Perform modifications on new or transferred molds. 9\. Conduct in-machine repairs. 10\. Carry out other assigned or required tasks. 11\. Serve as a role model in attitude and willingness to perform job functions. 12\. Record work orders performed during the shift in the designated format.
