Customs brokerage firm with over 25 years of experience is seeking: **IMPORT VERIFICATION OFFICER** **DESCRIPTION** * Required experience for the position: 1 to 3 years of experience in reviewing import and export customs declarations (glosa de pedimentos), and in foreign trade-related operational supply chain activities. * Completed bachelor’s degree or currently pursuing one in International Trade, International Relations, or related field. * Minimum age: 24 years old. **KNOWLEDGE** * Customs operations applying various customs declaration (pedimento) codes. * Identification of documents required for customs clearance in import and export (certificates for claiming tariff preferences, documents to comply with or obtain exemptions from Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (RRNA’s), CFDI and/or equivalent document, etc.). * Obligations and responsibilities of the Customs Agent. * Familiarity with applicable regulatory frameworks related to customs and foreign trade, including: * Customs Law and its Regulations * Foreign Trade Law and its Regulations * Current General Rules of Foreign Trade * Agreements on Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions * International Treaties * Incoterms * ANNEX 22 * Identification of documents required for customs clearance in import and export (certificates for claiming tariff preferences, documents to comply with or obtain exemptions from Non-Tariff Regulations and Restrictions (RRNA’s), CFDI and/or equivalent document, COVE, etc.) **WE OFFER:** * Gross monthly salary of $14,000 * Statutory benefits * Additional benefits beyond statutory requirements * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am – 6:00 pm If you meet the profile… APPLY NOW!!!
