Guadalajara La Mesa Position Type: Full-time Salary to be discussed based on experience Position Objective Ensure the proper execution of import operations, guaranteeing compliance with current customs legislation, accurate document management, and optimization of time and costs within the logistics chain. Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor import and export operations. Review and validate customs declarations, commercial invoices, packing lists, and transportation documents. Verify correct tariff classification and determination of duties and taxes. Ensure compliance with non-tariff regulations and restrictions. Coordinate with customs brokers, carriers, and authorities. Monitor customs clearance processes and resolve incidents. Control and archive files in accordance with tax and customs regulations. Support internal audits and reviews conducted by authorities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Customs, or related field. Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a similar position. Knowledge of the Customs Law, General Rules of Foreign Trade, and Incoterms. Experience handling customs declarations and customs documentation. Intermediate Excel proficiency. Desirable: familiarity with customs systems (VUCEM, CASA, SAP, etc.).
