We are currently seeking **a Carpenter** at **Grand Palladium Riviera Maya.** **MAIN FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Ensure the work area remains clean, organized, and safe. * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on wooden furniture and installations: doors, closets, chairs, tables, and frames. * Carry out woodwork tasks including marking, sawing, planing, assembly, and polishing, ensuring high-quality finishes. * Repair and varnish damaged furniture, including fabrication of special components (e.g., wedges for Housekeeping staff or wedding furniture). * Paint furniture and plane door edges as required. * Adjust or replace hinges and inspect doors and closets to ensure proper functionality. * Participate in the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs together with the immediate supervisor. * Maintain carpentry tools and equipment under one’s responsibility. * Maintain appropriate control over tools. * Record activities in the logbook at the end of each shift and follow up on pending items from the previous day. * Report to the immediate supervisor any repair requiring additional time or resources for proper resolution. **In return for your commitment and motivation, we offer:** * Genuine opportunities for development within an internationally expanding company. * An excellent working environment. * Benefits exceeding statutory requirements. * Continuous training and enriching learning experiences. **Requirements:** --------------- **PROFILE REQUIREMENTS** * Education (specify if there are legal requirements to perform this position): * Junior high school or general high school diploma. **Experience and Technical Knowledge:** * 1 year of experience in carpentry. * Knowledge of furniture manufacturing, repair, and varnishing; familiarity with carpentry tools.
