"• Verify that complete and accurate order entry information has been received from field sales and/or channel partners on incoming switchboard orders. * Develop control schematic drawings, BOMs and components. * Prepare Manufacturing Information (MI) for switchboards, utilizing Bid Manager, AutoCAD, and Plant Order Manager. * Support engineering function by providing directions to team members per Engineering spreadsheets, UL standards and NEC in interpreting complex customer requirements and translating them into manufacturable switchboard designs. * Identify and design special fabricated parts required using ACAD and 3\-D modeling systems (Auto\-Desk Inventor, etc.), ensuring that MI’s are completed and the material is routed accordingly to the appropriate assembly team. * Interface with customers, channel partners, Field\-Sales, and EatonCare through participation in plant visits, training support and customer events. * Provide input to Product Line development teams on design and pick table enhancements. * Support and assist assembly teams in resolution of process and/or information quality problems. * Support Satellite Plants thru design review and product implementation. * Mentor entry level Mechanical Engineers and designers in support of Eaton Switchboards." **Qualifications:** ------------------- * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related from an accredited institution * Minimum of 3 years of engineering experience in an industrial/manufacturing or engineering environment * Minimum 2 years of experience processing data center orders * Understanding of electricity * Experience with AutoCAD software * Experience with Eaton systems: VISTA, Bid Manager, AS\-400, ENOVIA \& DMM * Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) * Demonstrated technical and application knowledge of switchboards \#LI\-MB2 **Skills:** ----------- * Strong verbal and written communication skills, persuasive skills, and analytical problem solving skills.
