We are now looking to welcome a **General Accountant** to our team to contribute to our organization’s financial stability and responsible growth. **Position Objective** Supervise, coordinate, and ensure the accurate recording of all company transactions, guaranteeing compliance with current tax and accounting regulations, as well as the timely delivery of reliable financial information to support corporate strategic decision-making. **Main Responsibilities** * Audit and validate accounting records prepared by accounting assistants at each branch. * Supervise and ensure proper execution of monthly and annual accounting closings. * Prepare and file tax returns and fulfill obligations before the relevant authorities. * Verify accounting and tax documentation in accordance with current regulations. * Design and implement tax and financial strategies aligned with organizational objectives. * Identify areas for improvement and optimize accounting processes, policies, and systems. * Monitor and track budget compliance by department. * Prepare and submit financial statements and accounting reports for management and auditing purposes. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax legislation and accounting standards (NIF). * Develop and supervise internal controls to safeguard assets and financial information. * Coordinate ongoing training for the accounting team. * Perform additional duties assigned by management related to the finance area.
