Interpretation of technical drawings and use of measuring tools Job Description: **Evottek Automation Lab**, a company dedicated to **automation** and **manufacturing**, is seeking a ***Conventional Machinery and Tools Technician*** for full-time work at our headquarters in ***Tijuana, B.C.*** Responsibilities: **Objective:** Manufacture, modify, and fit mechanical parts according to provided drawings, using conventional machinery and tools in a machine shop. Detailed Activities: * Interpret technical drawings to determine the most effective manufacturing method. * Operate conventional equipment: milling machine, lathe, grinder; knowledge of maintenance of such equipment is preferred. * Use measuring tools: vernier caliper, micrometer, pin gages, block gages, granite surface plates, etc. * Ability to interpret technical drawings, including dimensions, tolerances, and symbols, in both the International System (metric) and Imperial System (inches). * Flexible working hours Employment Type: Full-time Salary: Starting at $3,000.00 per week Work Location: On-site employment
