




Job Summary: General Accountant to ensure accounting, tax, and financial compliance, guaranteeing accurate recordkeeping and reliable information for decision-making. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure accounting, tax, and financial compliance of the group. 2. Control and reconcile accounts, and supervise purchasing/sales transactions. 3. Prepare financial reports and analyses for decision-making. **General Accountant –** Corporate Group Department: Finance / Accounting / Administration **Job Objective** Ensure the group’s accounting, tax, and financial compliance in accordance with Mexican regulations (NIF, Income Tax Law, VAT, IEPS, and provisions issued by CRE and SAT), guaranteeing accurate recording of transactions, inventory control, and preparation of reliable financial information for decision-making. **Main Responsibilities** **1. General Accounting** * Record all accounting transactions timely and accurately in compliance with applicable laws. * Control and reconcile accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank accounts. * Supervise proper accounting treatment of purchasing, sales, and gas transfer transactions. * Prepare and review accounting entries for revenues/sales, expenses, and general journal. **2. Tax Compliance** * Calculate and file monthly VAT, income tax, IEPS, and individual withholding tax returns. * Manage CFDIs for income, expenses, and payment complements. * Prepare informative and annual tax filings with SAT. **3. Inventory and Costing** * Calculate weighted average cost per product and analyze operating margins. * Prepare monthly branch-level performance reports. **4. Treasury and Internal Control** * Assist with bank reconciliations. * Monitor sales deposits, fund transfers, and supplier payments. **5. Reporting and Analysis** * Prepare monthly and cumulative financial statements. * Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closings of electronic accounting. **6. Payroll** Maintain payroll, salary, and social security records **Requirements** * Academic qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting * Experience: * Minimum 3 years in accounting or tax-related positions. * Prior experience in import/export companies is desirable. * Technical knowledge: * NIF, Income Tax Law, VAT, IEPS, and SAT/CRE regulations. * Proficiency in accounting systems (Contpaq, ERP required). * Advanced Excel (pivot tables, financial formulas, reconciliations). * Personal skills: * High sense of responsibility and confidentiality. * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Professional ethics. * Schedule: Monday to Friday (9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.) * Work modality: On-site * Salary: Based on experience * Benefits: Statutory Employment type: Full-time Salary: $25,000.00 – $30,000.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
