




**TRILINGUAL UNIVERSITY CENTER "CUAUTEPEC"** **JOB DESCRIPTION: COLLECTION STAFF** **Job Title:** Collection Staff **Department:** Administration / Finance **Institution:** Trilingual University Center “Cuautepec” **Position Type:** Administrative **Reports To:** Administrative Coordination / Directorate **Position Objective** To manage, control, and ensure timely follow-up on the recovery of payments and outstanding balances from students and guardians, guaranteeing compliance with the collection policies of the Trilingual University Center “Cuautepec”, in accordance with principles of respect, confidentiality, and institutional service. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Collect tuition fees, enrollment fees, re-enrollment fees, and other educational services. * Monitor accounts receivable and student outstanding balances. * Issue receipts, payment confirmations, and collection reports. * Record payments in the corresponding administrative systems. * Promptly notify students and guardians regarding payment deadlines and pending balances. * Apply authorized payment agreements, discounts, or extensions approved by the Directorate. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on income and overdue accounts receivable. * Safeguard and responsibly handle valuables, cash, and financial documentation. * Provide courteous and clear assistance to students and parents regarding their payment status. * Coordinate with the school services and accounting departments to update information. * Comply with internal policies on data control and confidentiality. **Position Profile** **Education:** * Completed high school diploma or incomplete bachelor’s degree in administrative, accounting, or related fields. **Experience:** * Minimum 1 year in collections, cashiering, or administration (preferably in educational institutions). **Knowledge:** * Collection processes and revenue control. * Cash handling and point-of-sale (POS) terminals. * Preparation of administrative reports. * Basic Microsoft Office suite. **Skills:** * Assertive communication and courteous demeanor. * Organization and follow-up ability. * Conflict management and negotiation skills. * Honesty and responsibility. **Attitudes and Values** * Professional ethics and discretion. * Service orientation. * Punctuality and institutional commitment. * Respect and empathy in user service. **Working Conditions** * Schedule established by the institution. * Office-based work and direct public interaction. * Handling of financial information and resources.
