




Job Summary: This role involves managing billing operations, responding to customer inquiries, coordinating with internal departments, and tracking files and customs procedures. Key Highlights: 1. End-to-end management of billing processes. 2. Customer support and assistance for internal and external customers. 3. Interdepartmental coordination to optimize billing. Main Responsibilities: 1. Issue and deliver invoices accurately and on time. 2. Validate payments collected under U.S. and Mexican accounts with respective departments. 3. Address customer inquiries regarding billing matters and employment requests. 4. Meet billing deadlines for paid customs entries and employment requests. Detailed Functions: * Receive and/or request files from the billing assistant. * Review and follow up on references listed in the “Pending Invoicing Report”. * Review and follow up on references listed in the System Report. * Provide support to internal and external customers via email and telephone. * Collaborate with other departments to complete the billing process. * Check SOIA website for Customs Recognition (Traffic Light Status). * Verify in SLAM system and physical file that Verified Expenses and advance payments (if applicable) have been applied. * Generate expense report from SLAM system and compare expenses against tariff and incremental charges of the customs entry. * Prepare invoices for companies. * Download Digital Customs File and assemble it according to client requirements. * Print or scan files for delivery to the client. * Send files to the client via courier, FTP, or email, per client instructions. * Prepare billing reports for clients. * Deliver files to the billing assistant for dispatch.
