Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant to record journal entries, review invoices, assist with bank reconciliations, manage accounts, maintain up-to-date files, and support financial closings. Verification of compliance with internal policies and tax regulations We are looking for your talent as an **ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT** **Duties and Responsibilities** * Record income, expense, and general journal entries. * Review and classify invoices, receipts, and tax documents. * Assist with bank reconciliations. * Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable. * Prepare basic accounting reports. * Support preparation of tax filings (based on experience). * Maintain updated accounting files and tax documentation. * Assist in monthly and annual financial closings. * Verify compliance with internal policies and tax regulations. * Provide administrative support to the accounting department. **Requirements**: * Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (in progress or completed). * Minimum of **2 years** of experience in similar roles (warehouse, logistics, distribution) preferred. * Intermediate Excel proficiency. * SAT4.0 invoicing. * Strong knowledge of tax matters. * Experience with accounting systems (COI, CONTPAQi, SAP, or others – preferred). **Working Hours**: * Monday to Friday: 8:30 am – 6:00 pm * Saturday: 8:30 am – 2:00 pm Work location: Texcoco Centro.
