About the Job (About the position) * The Account Clerk is responsible for supporting the accurate administration and recording of the accounting and financial transactions of Kerzner Palmilla Group companies, ensuring compliance with internal policies, accounting controls and established timelines. This role plays a key part in the integrity of financial information, payment control, bank reconciliations and interdepartmental support, contributing to the smooth operational and financial functioning of the business. About You (About you) * We are looking for an organized, analytical individual with a strong sense of responsibility who enjoys working with numbers and accounting processes. You must possess attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and a service-oriented and collaborative attitude to support various business departments. Confidentiality, professional ethics and a results-driven focus are essential for this role. Key Responsibilities * Record and control the importer company’s payment processes timely and accurately. * Record daily banking transactions for all company accounts. * Prepare bank reconciliations, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded and reconciled. * Prepare monthly templates for assigned accounting accounts. * Prepare and record accounting entries for the various group companies. * Review and follow up on supplier advance payment processes, ensuring proper control and application. * Support inventory counts for Hotel, Retail and Golf, according to established schedules. * Provide support to various departments as per their administrative and accounting requirements and needs. * Review daily bank balances to support investment or divestment decisions. * Fund bank accounts to ensure timely execution of scheduled payments. Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field (completed or in progress). * Prior experience in accounting or administrative functions (preferably in hospitality or corporate environments). * Knowledge of accounting records, bank reconciliations and payment controls. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel (intermediate level preferred). * Experience with accounting systems or ERPs (preferred). * Organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines. * Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively across departments.
