**Job Opening: QA Engineer (Test Automation)** **Location:** Mexico City, CDMX – Insurgentes Sur **Work Mode:** On-site **Project Duration:** 6 months with possibility of extension **Position Description:** We are looking for a **QA Engineer** with experience in **test automation**, focused on ensuring software quality through the design, execution, and documentation of tests. The role actively participates in agile environments and collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to deliver reliable, high-quality products. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design and execute functional, non-functional, structural, and regression test cases. * Automate tests and execute scripts, analyzing results. * Document results and ensure quality throughout the entire testing lifecycle. * Identify, log, and track defects to resolution. * Estimate, plan, and coordinate testing activities. * Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies and agile methodologies. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a QA Engineer in test automation. * Solid knowledge of testing fundamentals. * Experience with agile methodologies and Scrum. * Requirements analysis and test case design. * Proficiency in the **Gherkin** language for scenario definition. * Familiarity with tools such as **Jira, Confluence, Git, Postman, JMeter, and Appium**. * Experience in functional, non-functional, and regression testing. * Teamwork skills and results-oriented mindset. **Desirable:** * Experience in continuous integration (CI/CD) environments. * Knowledge of additional automation frameworks or tools. **Work Location:** Insurgentes Sur, Coyoacán, CDMX.
