A global company specializing in logistics and international transportation is seeking a **Customer Service – Ocean Import** to join its operations in **Mexico City**. **Main Responsibilities** * Manage and provide comprehensive follow-up on maritime import operations, being responsible for controlling and closing assigned shipments. * Provide support to air and land operations when required by the operation. * Act as the main point of contact between customers and internal departments (sales, operations, warehouse, and customs), ensuring clear communication and an efficient service experience. * Coordinate international maritime import shipments from booking through to final delivery, working closely with suppliers and operational teams. * Timely report shipment status, addressing customer inquiries and requests. * Prepare, review, and manage international trade documentation such as Bills of Lading (BLs), commercial invoices, and customs documentation, ensuring their correct issuance. * Identify, analyze, and resolve operational issues related to maritime import transportation, acting as liaison with shipping lines, customs brokers, and other participants in the logistics chain. * Support quotation preparation, rate negotiations with shipping lines, and logistics advisory, proposing solutions aligned with customer needs. **Required Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, International Business, or a related field. * Minimum 1 year of experience in Customer Service within freight forwarders, with mandatory focus on Ocean Import. * Solid knowledge of international maritime transportation, customs procedures, and Incoterms. * Intermediate level of English. * Proficiency in logistics management systems or platforms. * Organized, proactive, detail-oriented individual with strong customer service orientation. **The company offers** * Competitive gross monthly salary. * Performance-based bonus scheme. * Meal vouchers and benefits exceeding statutory requirements. * Genuine opportunities for professional development within a positive and collaborative work environment. **Are you interested in joining the team?** Apply through this channel Job Type: Full-time Salary: $22,000.00 \- $25,000.00 per month Benefits: * Gym discount * Medical expense insurance * Major medical expense insurance * Meal vouchers Experience: * Maritime import customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Language: * English (Preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
