Vacancy: Foreign Trade and Imports Supervisor An industrial company located at the Port of Altamira, Tamaulipas, is offering the position of Foreign Trade and Imports Supervisor. Job Objective: To plan, coordinate, and supervise the company’s foreign trade operations—including imports, exports, and control of raw materials\-spare parts—ensuring compliance with current customs, tax, and commercial regulations, as well as proper international logistics management. The position will also support the procurement department in specialized import acquisitions and the export department, guaranteeing operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and logistics cost optimization. Main Responsibilities: * Supervise maritime, land, and rail import and export operations. * Review and track import and export customs entries (pedimentos). * Validate tariff classification and goods valuation. * Control and administer the Customs Law, Annex 24, and Annex 30\. * Validate commercial documentation: invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, transport documents, and customs entries. * Monitor customs clearance processes with customs brokers. * Manage non-tariff permits, regulations, and restrictions. * Ensure compliance with the Customs Law, General Rules of Foreign Trade, and international treaties (USMCA or others). * Support the procurement department in acquiring imported raw materials and supplies. * Track international purchase orders related to imports. * Support the export department in documentation and logistics for international shipments. * Maintain communication with freight forwarders, carriers, shipping lines, and customs brokers. * Analyze international logistics costs (freight, insurance, warehousing, delays). * Propose improvements to reduce transit times and operational costs. * Prepare internal audits and respond to authority reviews. * Monitor foreign trade department performance indicators (KPIs). Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): * Timely customs clearance compliance. * Reduction of logistics costs. * Zero customs fines or sanctions. * Documentation accuracy in operations. * Service level in import and export operations. Requirements: Gender: Unrestricted Marital Status: Unrestricted Education: Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related field. Experience: Minimum 2–3 years in roles such as Foreign Trade Analyst, Import Executive, Export Executive, IMMEX Analyst, or International Logistics Coordinator.
