Job Objective Ensure the proper administrative and operational functioning of the mechanical workshop, guaranteeing control over preventive and corrective maintenance, spare parts administration, cost control, and supervision of technical personnel. Requirements * Education: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field. * Minimum 3 years’ experience managing a mechanical workshop (preferably for tractor-trailers, heavy-duty vehicles, or fleets). * Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance. * Inventory control and administration of spare parts. * Budget management and cost control. * Experience coordinating technical staff. * Intermediate-to-advanced Excel proficiency. * Familiarity with maintenance management systems (ERP or specialized software) is desirable. Main Responsibilities * Planning and monitoring of vehicle maintenance programs. * Supervision of mechanical personnel and assignment of tasks. * Control of work orders and repair turnaround times. * Procurement and inventory management of spare parts and supplies. * Workshop cost control and reporting to management. * Monitoring of performance indicators (vehicle availability, downtime, cost per unit). * Coordination with operations to ensure fleet availability.
