Opportunity within an international automotive industry group **LINKEAZI is seeking an IMMEX Customs Specialist in San Luis Potosí, San Luis Potosi** ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ **Location:** San Luis Potosí **Schedule:** Monday to Friday, 8 hours per day **Salary:** $35,000–$45,000 MXN gross monthly + statutory benefits About Us: We are an international group of Chinese origin with approximately 650 employees, specializing in the automotive component supply industry. **Responsibilities** **Customs Clearance Operations (Import/Export)** * Prepare, review, and submit required customs documentation for import and export operations in Mexico, ensuring accuracy and regulatory compliance. * Coordinate with customs brokers and oversee the entire customs clearance process to ensure timely release of goods. * Address special situations such as customs inspections or verifications by providing necessary documentation and support.**IMMEX Program Management** * Administer the company’s IMMEX program, ensuring its proper operation and regulatory compliance. * Register and control temporary imports of goods, raw materials, machinery, and equipment. * Prepare and submit periodic reports required under the IMMEX program. * Collaborate with external auditors to complete annual IMMEX-related audits. * Ensure compliance with the balance requirement between exports and temporary imports as stipulated by current legislation.**Regulatory Compliance and Risk Management** * Monitor updates to the Mexican Customs Law, foreign trade regulations, and IMMEX-related regulations. * Identify and assess compliance risks and implement preventive and corrective measures. * Provide advisory services on tariff classification, rules of origin, and customs valuation.**Cost Optimization and Internal Coordination** * Analyze and optimize fiscal costs related to tariffs and VAT, leveraging applicable tax incentives and benefits. * Maintain ongoing communication with internal departments including procurement, logistics, finance, and production. * Manage relationships with government authorities, customs agencies, and tax bodies. **Requirements** **Academic Qualification:** Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or related fields. **Experience** * 3–5 years of experience in import/export customs clearance. * Experience in administering or ensuring compliance with the IMMEX program. * Experience in manufacturing or commercial companies in Mexico. **Knowledge** * Proficiency in the Mexican Customs Law and the IMMEX Decree. * Knowledge of customs documentation, tariff classification, and certificates of origin. **Languages:** Advanced English. **Technical Skills** * Proficiency in customs declaration systems. * Microsoft Office. **Competencies** * Attention to detail. * High sense of responsibility. * Problem-solving ability. * Ability to work under pressure. **Desired Education Level:** Higher education – degree holder **Desired Experience Level:** Expert level **Departmental Function:** Logistics / Transportation **Industry:** Automotive **Skills:** * IMMEX * Mexican Customs Law * Import/Export *This job posting originates from the Talenteca.com job board:* *https://www.talenteca.com/anuncio?j_id=69b2d3ad4b0000250090d41c&source=indeed
