Manage operational teams and drive continuous improvement Job Objective: Lead the end-to-end operation of the Mexico Makers CEDIS, ensuring efficient order fulfillment (40,000–45,000 orders monthly), optimizing logistics processes, ensuring seamless integration with e-commerce platforms, and maintaining high standards of operational control, inventory accuracy, and customer service. Requirements: --Education: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. --Experience: 5 years in similar logistics or CEDIS management roles. --E-commerce experience (mandatory). --Experience handling high order volumes (+30,000 orders per month; ideally 40K+). --Experience leading operational teams. Technical Knowledge: *Proficiency in Shopify. *Experience with Pulpo WMS. *Inventory control. *Fulfillment processes. *Logistics KPIs (OTIF, fill rate, SLA, etc.). Skills: *Operational leadership. *Decision-making. *Analytical thinking. *Problem-solving. *Organization and results orientation. Main Responsibilities: **CEDIS Operational Management: **Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily distribution center operations. **Ensure achievement of KPIs: order picking time, shipping time, on-time delivery, and order accuracy. **Manage demand spikes and seasonal fluctuations. E-commerce and Platforms: **Administer and optimize logistics operations linked to Shopify. **Ensure accurate synchronization of orders, inventory, and shipments. **Coordinate integrations with courier services and internal systems. WMS System: **Operate and optimize Pulpo WMS usage. **Ensure traceability, inventory control, and picking efficiency. **Implement process improvements within the system. Inventory and Control: **Oversee cycle counts and physical inventories. **Monitor shrinkage, losses, and variances. **Ensure alignment between physical inventory and system records. Team Leadership: **Manage operational teams (warehouse, picking, packing, shipping). **Define roles, shifts, and workload distribution. **Develop talent and enforce operational discipline. Logistics and Distribution: **Coordinate local and national shipments. **Manage relationships with logistics providers. **Optimize distribution costs. Continuous Improvement: **Identify bottlenecks and propose solutions. **Implement improvement initiatives (e.g., Lean, operational efficiency). **Automate processes where feasible.
